To access the settings, click on Podcast importer from the left menu.
In the free version, some options are not available.
The following options are available in the full version of podcast importer plugin for WordPress.
- Post Type: select under which post type to import the podcast. For Pro Radio, OnAir2, Sonik, Vice, Kentha or WpCasterPro, the correct post type is "Podcast".
- Taxonomy: For most of our themes, Podcast Filters is the recommended option
- Number of episodes to process: for each feed, how many episodes to import in a single run. This option affects the amount of time required for the process. The free version is limited to 3. Is recommended to not set more than 20 to prevent excessive resource usage on your server.
- Import Cron Frequency: this is how often the automatic importer will fetch the episodes from all of the enabled feeds. Recommended: 12 hours. In the free version, the limit is 24 hours.
- Debug fields: if enabled, each RSS Feed Source will display a log with the information on the last run that took place. This is useful in case some podcast doesn't import as expected.
