Elementor Pro is not required, anyway, is compatible with our theme and you are free to purchase and use it, if you want.
How to create a new homepage with Elementor
Step 1: In you WordPress admin go to Pages > Add new
Step 2: Set a title and select the page template "Page Elementor".
Step 3: Optionally set a custom background, hide the default page header or hide completely the default background. 
Step 4: click Publish or Update
Step 5: Once done, click Edit with Elementor
