This theme has a custom post type for Podcasts, which is recommended instead of using regular posts for your podcasting activity.
Podcasts have special features which will add extra interactivity and usability to your website and will allow to create stunning podcast archives and pages.
If you are already using custom Posts with audio format, for your podcast episodes, no problem, you can continue to do so, but using the Podcasts post type provided with pro Radio allows more flexibility and new possibilities. Our podcasting structure is also compatible with the popular PowerPress plugin, which allows to easily craft your podcasts for iTunes, Google Podcasts and other platforms.
The theme can as well import import directly any external RSS podcasting feed, and play the audio through the Pro Radio player bundled with the theme, using PowerPress or other podcast Import plugins.
An important information about Podcasts is that they require to set a custom date, otherwise they can't be properly extracted and ordered in the archives.
