Player udpates
The player can now display the listeners stats for Shoutcast, Icecast and Sonic Panel. You can enable this information for each radio channel of your choice, ticking the checkbox of the radio channels. The “Listeners” data will appear in the player (desktop only).
For the Laut-fm server type, we added a filter to avoid displaying the “jingle” text in the player.
ReAktions plugin
We also solved an important bug on the ReAktions plugin, which was displaying question mark symbols on servers using compression, after voting or sharing a post.
Pro Radio Elementor Widgets
The new Elementor Widgets plugin has new features too: you can now filter the post list Large widget for categories AND tags as well.
Music charts
The charts playlist had a relevant performance udpate: the Youtube and Soundcloud players are not preloaded by default: they will only load after clicking on a song to play the track. This will improve considerably the page loading time of any website containing music charts.
Also, charts can now be reordered in reverse order as well (from less to most voted song). This option is available in the customizer, in Special Settings – Charts.
Countdown widget
The Countdown widget now has an Automatic feature: the next upcoming event is automatically picked if no event is chosen, allowing to display a countdown permanently pointed at the next event, without requiring a manual update to your pages when the upcoming event changes. Perfect to promote your radio parties and your new radio shows!
New theme options
For every single post or page (or custom post type) is now possible to disable the featured image from the page content. If you have the Featured Image added to the post content by default in your global customizer settings, you can now hide it for a single post or custom post type. The option is available within the custom fields of the post.
The global theme features had improvements as well: we solved a minor issue of the breadcrumb, which was missing the arrow for certtain pages as category separator. The “Video” post type now can display the comments section if enabled, we added the Swedish translation for the theme and a news bulletin section was added in the Pro Radio Admin page, to inform on the latest features and possibilities from Pro Radio.
